Me, Myself and I
Long, long time ago, in the drain along jalan Loke Yew, there was a little puppy, scared and injured, sitting and waiting for time to come. Shivering in cold and whinning in fear, a pair of hand, the hand of hope came down and swoop the little puppy out of the drain. Wrapping it in white cloth and stroking it gently on the head, the little one was safe. Now the puppy has grown up, it has grown up to be a pretty girl, a girl that has all the love she can have, have all the things that she needs. Yet, she felt insecure, nervous and always HUNGRY.
Well, that was me actually. My name is Crumbs, i am one hell of a dog. My daddy says i am pretty, my mummy says i am cute. I think i am both. I can't remember when i was born or who my real parents are (guess most mongrels does not know) but all i know is that i have a family that cares for me and loves me a lot.
When i was young, my daddy seldom brings me out, he tried bringing me to the park but often i rather stay at home. My mummy on the other hand likes to bring me out, but after some one tried to throw bricks at me, she stop doing so.
I used to have a lots of kids to play with, but then, my daddy put a stop to teaching them tuition and started teaching me instead. He says it is because i am too naughty and frighten all the kids. That's why i am always busy on Saturdays and Sundays. My mummy says it is a good thing for me and my dad, i don't see what's in it for me but mummy says its good for daddy cos that stops him from playing too much computer games or playing mahjong with his friends. Though i don't know what they are, but what mummy says is good for daddy i think so too.
About myself, i can't say much, but all i know is; i don;t like being in crowded places, i am scared of being touch by humans and i am scared to play with other dogs. Because of this, my daddy had to spent more time with me and bring me out to socialize. And i tell you guys, i really like to go out with him especially to South City Plaza on Wednesday, cos that is the day that daddy's friends Melissa and Helenna will bring lots of FOOD and i always get a share of it. But they are cunning, they always want to barter trade with me. They want to touch me before they allow me to have a share of their food. So i always let them touch me when there is food and as always, after finishing the food, i will just clean up all the Crumbs on the floor and smack my toungue and the say bye bye to them.
